Chief of Staff

Roz joined the SNP after the referendum and quickly became active, as the Northfield Campaign Coordinator for Tommy’s general election campaign and as women’s officer for her local SNP branch. Roz is a qualified Educational Psychologist who has recently moved into her new career,  working in Tommy's team.


In her role Roz supports Tommy with press relations, social media and communications with constituents. She liaises with key groups, charities and agencies within the constituency alongside undertaking briefings for Tommy on key local issues.

Put minds of European friends in Capital at rest

The Brexit vote raises many issues, but one in particular concerns Tommy Sheppard – and that’s the status of EU nationals

It’s just four weeks since people voted to leave the European Union in a UK-wide referendum and chaos reigns. It’s clear no-one, least of all the British government, had the first clue about what should happen if the vote went the way it did. The Scottish Government is fighting to protect Scotland’s position in Europe following a huge vote in favour here. The best brains in the country have been commissioned to see how we can keep our Scottish passports whilst being part of the UK. The new Prime Minister has said that any ideas they come up with can feed into the UK Brexit planning.

You may be aware that last week the Scottish Government implemented an effective ban on electronic shock collars for dogs. These are barbaric devices that have no place in the training of dogs. I congratulate Ben Macpherson MSP on his campaign to get this action. However, the Scottish Government have one hand tied behind their back as powers over the sale of such devices is reserved to Westminster...
