I am not currently an MP, as Parliament has been dissolved until after the General Election. If you wish to contact Tommy you can do so on tommysheppardsnp@gmail.com

Tommy has a strong team to help him respond to constituency requests. All of his staff are based in the Edinburgh East constituency. You can find out a bit more about them below.

Team Profiles

Danny Aston

Danny Aston

Parliamentary Assistant

Danny was previously a manager in market research operations, covering a third of London. Danny was active in the indyref and joined the SNP afterwards, campaigning come rain or shine for Tommy in the recent Westminster campaign. Danny splits his time between working for Tommy and Kenny MacAskill MSP.

Aside from politics, his interests include literature, history, philosophy, football (especially Hibs and Scotland), walking and eating.

Kate Campbell

Kate Campbell

Parliamentary Assistant

kate.campbell@parliament.uk

Kate previously worked as a project supervisor, managing teams of researchers undertaking a variety of research projects. Kate graduated as a director of film and television and previously worked on River City. Her main passion is film making and loves art house cinema.

Kate played an active role in the independence referendum, knocking on many local doors and joined the SNP after this. As a parliamentary assistant, Kate has the unenviable role of managing Tommy’s diary – a task that seems to never end. Kate leads on Tommy’s work in the constituency – liaising with charities, organisations and community councils.

Roz joined the SNP after the referendum and quickly became active, as the Northfield Campaign Coordinator for Tommy’s general election campaign and as women’s officer for her local SNP branch. Roz is a qualified Educational Psychologist and retains her interest in this field.

In her role Roz manages the office and team in the constituency office. She also supports Tommy in his parliamentary work and his communications.

Simon joined Tommy’s team after several years working in the Council both in Welfare Rights and Housing. In his role Simon takes a lead on casework, supporting individual constituents requiring assistance and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.

Simon enjoys a game of tennis and is a big fan of Andy Murray. He also enjoys a spot of home cooking – especially with a large glass of red wine.
