You could get £69.70 a week if you care for someone at least 35 hours a week and they get certain benefits.

Carer’s Allowance Supplement is an extra payment to help carers in Scotland who get Carer’s Allowance.
Young Carer Grant
The grant is a yearly payment of £326.65 for young carers in Scotland. You need to be 16, 17 or 18 years old to get it.
Disabled persons free bus pass
If you or your child (5+) has a disability you may be able to get a free bus pass.
Independent Living Transition Fund
If you’re 15 to 25 with a disability you could apply to the fund for money to take part in new activities or learn a skill.

This payment helps disabled children and their families to pay for increased heating costs over winter. It’s paid once a year. The payment for winter 2022-2023 is £214.10.
If you’re raising a disabled or seriously ill child on a low income, Family Fund might be able to help with a grant for essential items.

Your child could get free school transport if their school is not within walking distance, you’re on a low income or they have additional support needs.
